September 4th - October, 18th

Boys-

Storm (1st & 2nd grade) @ Jeremy Elementary
Thursdays, 4-5pm. Fridays, 3:30-5pm.

Lightning (3rd & 4th grade)@ Jeremy Elementary
Starting, Sept. 4th - Tursdays, 5:30-7pm. Saturdays, 10am.-12pm.

Thunder (5th & 6th grade) @ PC High School Softball Field
Mondays, Wednesdays, 5:30-7pm.

Juniors (7th & 8th grade) @ Ecker Hill School
Tuesdays, Fridays - 4-6pm.

Girls- 

Girls,Thunder (4th - 6th grade)Starting Sept,2nd
Practice - Tuesday, Thursday, 5-6:30pm.
@ Grass outside Basin Rec.

Girls, Juniors (7th - 8th grade) Fall
Practice - Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 5-7pm. @ Grass outside of Basin Rec

Game Day Procedures

Responsibilities of Hosting, Home, and Away teams:

Hosting Team

  • Table (1) and Chairs (2)
  • Score flip chart
  • Responsible for lining the field(s), two goals for each field, and cones (if your team only has one goal make arrangements before to insure that there are two goals for all fields at all the games)
  • Have the field set up 30 minutes before the first game is to start

Home Team

  • Designated person for keeping time and score
  • Game clock and/or stopwatch
  • Horn
  • Game balls
  • If both teams have uniform shirts of the same or similar color, the home team shall be obligated to change or wear numbered pinnies or vests of a contrasting color
  • Pick up all trash left by your team and fans before leaving the field
  • First-aid kit
  • Juniors Only, must report game score within 24 hours to info@utahlax.org

Away Team

  • Designated person to sit at table and assist with score/time keeping
  • Pick up all trash left by your team and fans before leaving the field
  • First-aid kit

Spectators/parents: Coaches are responsible for informing their parents/spectators that any behavior of a harassing or unsportsmanlike nature will not be tolerated by the league and may result in penalties for the team and further action by game or league officials. Coaches also will be held responsible for their own behavior/actions that incite or contribute to an unsportsmanlike environment.

Game Cancellation Procedure:

  • Call opposing team’s coach and/or parent rep.
  • If cancellation is same day, please contact ref assignor Grant Nielson at: home - (801) 280-9452, mobile - (801) 680-0453, work - (801) 270-6054.  If you have 48 hours notice email Grant at gniel20002003@yahoo.com.   
  • Notify the ULA office by email at info@utahlax.org, or phone 255-5343.
  • Contact coach or parent rep from opposing team to reschedule the game.  Email all reschedule information to Grant Nielson and the ULA.

Clock:

  1. Clock stops/starts on every whistle in final 2 minutes of game.
  2. Table should issue 1-minute and 2-minute warnings for the end of quarters to officials.
  3. 2-minutes between quarters and a 5-minute half time.
  4. The clock is also to stop on a team time out and an official’s time out (injury).
  5. The clock is NOT stopped after goals unless they occur in the last two minutes of the game.
